What is temp mail?
Temp mail (also called a disposable, throwaway or burner email) is a real, working email address that only exists for a short time. You can receive messages on it like any other inbox, but it isn't linked to your name, your phone number, or your personal email account.
Most websites ask for an email address before you can read an article, grab a coupon, try an app, or join a Wi-Fi network. Many of those sites then send newsletters for years, share your address with partners, or lose it in a data breach. A temporary address lets you get what you came for while keeping your real inbox out of their mailing lists.
How to use TempMaily
- Copy your address. A random address like
k9xq2m@eee.bestork9xq2m@1due.comis created as soon as you open the page. Press Copy, or choose a Custom name you can remember. - Paste it where you need it. Use it on the sign-up form, download page or verification screen.
- Watch the inbox. New mail appears automatically – the inbox refreshes every five seconds. Click a message to read it, then copy the code or click the confirmation link.
- Walk away. After one hour the address and every message in it are permanently deleted. Need more time? Press Extend time (up to three extra hours). Need another address? Press Generate new.
